Privacy notice
Pawa keeps a private record for the people who care for one pet. This notice describes the MVP. It does not collect card data, precise location, audio, or human health information.
What we store
- Your account profile, household membership, and the pets you are explicitly granted.
- Notes you write, judgments, and the lost-mode state for a pet.
- A hashed founding-cohort email for up to 12 months, and a hashed household invite for up to 7 days.
- Export files and job metadata for 7 days. A download link lasts 10 minutes.
What stays on your device
The signed-out demo, coach replies, and simulated collar charts are not a stored veterinary history. Simulated charts are labeled simulation and are not kept as samples. Coach questions and replies are not stored on our servers.
Who processes it
Amazon Web Services hosts the API, accounts, database, export files, and invite email. Vercel hosts the marketing site and Pawa OS. The browser talks only to those sites; the OS server forwards an access token to the API.
How long it stays
Profiles, pets, and records remain until the owning deletion finishes. Clearing records writes a content-free audit event, kept for 400 days, and a tombstone kept for 45 days so a restore cannot bring the record bodies back. Application logs are kept 14 days in production and 7 days in staging.
Export and deletion
A pet owner can export a readable file and delete that pet's records. Deleting an account is refused while you are the sole owner of a household. After an account is deleted, notes you wrote can remain and show the author as a former member.
